I am
a self-taught artist who wasn’t brave enough for art school. But the
artist’s soul will never hush up.
I am a native of Atlanta, GA. I attended UGA, then commenced the obligatory, post-college, what-am-I-doing-with-my-life? adventures. From California to Colorado to Illinois to Back Home!(where I still reside).
It was in
2006, while working at Butterfly Beads in Urbana, IL that I tapped into the
magic of creating something both beautiful and wearable. This persists as my
purpose: to create beauty, to inspire, to share wonder and joy!
Authenticity
has always been an important theme for me, and I hope that it, more than
anything, is what shines through in my work. I choose themes and materials that
resonate with meaning and quality. I hope you are drawn to my jewelry because
those same themes resonate with you: sustainability, handmade quality, and the
enduring beauty and inspiration found in nature.
When not dreaming up/creating jewelry, I can be found listening to vinyl in my sunny
pink room, backyard romping with Ellijay, my wonderpup, or seeking connection
with all you kindred spirits out there!
